Once upon a time, Joe Kirschner a.k.a. Blanco Rabíto played basketball at New Brighton Area High School and also at Geneva and La Roche Univerity.  Blanco Rabíto also played for the Back-2-Back World Champion Cuban Giants (2002 and 2003) during the Funk-Mob Classy Classic era.  The Funk-Mob was an underground 3-on-3 basketball tournament that originated in 1996 in the backyard suburban venue better known as ALXN Arena.  As folklore has it, in 1997 the most dominant force ever came to town to steal the 6'5 legendary trophy from the Cuban Giants.  The force was called "Rabbit" and he dominated the paint that summer winning a title for the Montour Manipulators (T-Gunn, Slick 50, Gaylen, and Rabbit).  This force was so ferocious it sent the Cuban Giants out into the world to find an equally dominating big man to counter this monster.  The Cuban Giants did just that, finding 1997 NB graduate, Joe Kirschner.  They named him Joey Blanco aka "Blanco Rabíto" (The White Rabbit) and so the story began.  Blanco began demolishing rims, gutters, defenders, anything and everything in sight.  In an era before social media, highlight clips are hard to find, but they do exist at the heralded shrine many refer to as CLUB MYRTLE.  Anywho, 25 years later, Blanco Rabíto felt it was time to fulfill his dream of dropping his own clothing line.  He called it BRand44 (incorporating his initials and his jersey number 44).  It was late in 2022 when the dream became a reality.  Contacting his good buddy "Boop" to design the logo and spinach the vision into Popeye arms, low and behold came the return of THE WHITE RABBIT.  A nostalgic apparel line for the entire globe.  The rest is history.  

Actually, it is.  Blanco and Boop (aka García Dröndriguez, GM of the Cuban Giants and Funk-Mob founder) decided they wanted to do this for the kids.  So they agreed on 4 legendary young Hoopers (with crazy game) to build their BRand with and offered them all NIL Deals and part ownership in the company.  There was only 1 requirement.  You had to have the initials B.R. and you had to have CRAZY GAME.  So actually two requirements, but you get the picture.  The 4 players were called The 4 Mount Rushmores.  The BRand 44 product will officially launch on February 13, 2023, the 44th Day of the Year and will compete as a global brand shipping to 44 countries.  Built on love, respect, diversity, and strength, "The BRand 4 You" is extremely comfortable.  It's nostalgic yet basic fit is here to accommodate the best athletes, fans, friends, and family members of all generations and especially this millennial era.  We hope you enjoy!  Shipping begins 2/13/23.
